Taxes It's that time again and many of us are shaking in our shoes before we send in the returns. If you are at all successful in any kind of home business you probably owe the government money. Even if you are unemployed and collecting you have to pay taxes on the small check that you get. The biggest problem I have is that now you have to pay the state, the city, sales tax, fees for your water, trash removal, drivers license, registration and on and on and on. If we pay income tax on what we earn why do we have to pay on what we spend also? If we make more money, we can be put in a higher tax bracket and pay more. I guess the most profitable business is to start some type of government. Think of how great it would be to hire all your friends, give them great salaries and collect the money as a tax. You can cut back on services because you overspent on things you underestimated the cost of and raise the taxes to cover your expenses. Is that the perfect business?
